Meta Ads management in Huntington Beach

Meta ads are the posts marked Sponsored that appear in Facebook and Instagram feeds, among the posts of friends and of accounts people follow. We plan and manage those campaigns for businesses, from our office in Huntington Beach.

The parts

What a sponsored post is made of

An ad in a feed is built like an ordinary post, with a few parts that only ads carry.

  1. The Page

Every ad runs from a Facebook Page, whose name and picture head the post.

  2. The Sponsored label

Meta marks every paid post, so people can tell it from the posts they chose to follow.

  3. The picture or video

The creative: a picture, a video or a set of cards that people swipe through.

  4. The button

The call to action, such as Call now, Learn more or Send message, chosen from Meta’s own list.

  5. The text

The words of the post: its main text and a headline.

What managing Meta ads involves

Meta Ads management is the planning and running of a business’s paid posts on Facebook and Instagram. Unlike a search ad, a Meta ad reaches people who are not looking for anything in particular: it appears while they scroll, so it is shown to an audience the advertiser defines, by place, by age and by interests, or built from people who already know the business. Meta’s system decides who in that audience sees each ad and when, working toward the goal the campaign is set for, such as calls, messages or website visits. Running a campaign means choosing that audience and that goal, preparing the creative and the words, setting the budget, connecting measurement through the Meta Pixel or the Conversions API, and reading the results to decide what changes next. Besides the two feeds, Meta can also show ads in Messenger and in other apps that carry its ads.

What we run for your business is agreed in writing before we start. We don’t promise a number of messages or calls: who sees an ad, and how they respond, is decided by people and by Meta’s delivery system.

What we need from you: access to your Facebook Page and your ad account through Meta’s own business settings, the pictures or videos you already have, and what you want people to do after they see the ad.

Questions

Questions about Meta ads

Do I need both a Facebook Page and an Instagram account?

An ad runs from a Facebook Page, which every advertiser needs. An Instagram account is not required to show ads on Instagram, but connecting one lets the ads carry its name and lets people reach it from the ad.

Why do my ads show to people who never searched for my business?

That is how feed advertising works. Meta shows ads to the audience the advertiser defines while people scroll, which makes it a way to reach people before they search, not a replacement for being found when they do.

What is the Meta Pixel?

A piece of code on your website that tells Meta when someone who saw or clicked an ad takes an action there, such as sending a form. The Conversions API does the same job from the server, without depending on the visitor’s browser.

Who owns the ad account and the Page?

Your business does. Our terms say that client data and client-owned assets remain the client’s property. You give us access through Meta’s business settings and can remove it there at any time.

Can ads also show in stories and reels?

Yes. Meta can place ads in Facebook and Instagram feeds, stories and reels, and in other places it lists. Which of them a campaign uses is decided with you before it runs.
