Paid ad management in Huntington Beach, across search and social

When a business advertises on Google and on Facebook or Instagram at the same time, the campaigns draw on the same budget and often reach the same customers. Paid ad management plans them together. We do it from our office in Huntington Beach.

What one plan joins

The drawing joins the two ads with a bracket: one plan, two places to be seen.

The work

What managing more than one platform involves

Paid ad management is the planning of a business’s advertising across more than one platform as a single piece of work. Search ads and social ads do different jobs: a search ad answers someone who is already looking, and a social ad reaches people before they look. Each platform also counts results its own way, with its own attribution rules, so the same request can be claimed by Google Ads and by Meta at once, and the two reports never add up to what the business saw. Managing them together means deciding how the budget is divided, giving each platform the job it suits, measuring the outcome in one place the business trusts, such as its own calls and requests, and moving money toward what that measurement shows. Without that single measure, each campaign tends to be judged by its own platform’s report, which is the view least able to compare them.

Which platforms we run for your business, and how the work is divided, is agreed in writing before we start. We don’t promise a return on ad spend: the result depends on the auctions, the audiences and the offer, which no agency controls.

What we need from you: access to the ad accounts you already have, and a way to know which calls and requests came in, so the plan is measured against what reached your business.

Questions

Questions about running ads on more than one platform

Should I advertise on Google or on Facebook?

It depends on how your customers look for you. A search ad meets people who are already looking for your service; a feed ad reaches people who don’t know they need it yet. Many businesses use both, and planning the two together is what this service is.

Why do Google Ads and Meta both claim the same customer?

Each platform counts a result when its own ad played a part, by its own rules. When one person saw both ads, both platforms can count the same request. Measuring the outcome in your own records is how the double count is avoided.

Do I pay each platform separately?

Each platform bills the advertising it runs to the ad account that runs it. How our own work is charged is set out in our written agreement.

Can my existing campaigns be kept?

Yes. Campaigns live in the ad accounts, which belong to your business, so their history stays where it is when someone new is given access.

What happens when one platform stops working as well?

That is the reason to plan them together: the budget can move toward the platform whose results your own records show to be better, instead of each campaign being judged on its own.
